David Firth

David Firth is the creative Northern English creator of the Salad Fingers series. Salad Fingers is his most successful production but he has also produced many other animated videos. Firths' work tends to contain dark imagery and topics of a disturbing nature such as depression and mental illness. Firth has stated that it is not his goal to upset or offend. As well as containing dark themes and dark humor, Firths' work is often surreal and experimental.

Since the release of the 1-10 compilation video, Firth has assured his fans that Salad Fingers is not over. This was reaffirmed in 2017 when he claimed five more episodes were on the way. Since then, three full episodes have been released, leaving two in development. Supporting on his Patreon helps.
